Collage

These too are about simplicity. The essence of bird, twig, seeds, and stone. Pattern and shape are again to the fore. I create texture on my papers by working with paints a various media, scraping and flicking paints and inks to develop the correct look. The colour palette for the collages is muted although as the work or subjects develop a more subversive look might become evident.
